Shail Redoxine

Shail-Redoxine is effective at temperatures up to 1200°C, making it suitable for most heat treatment applications. It is prepared at a working concentration of one part Shail-Redoxine to three parts water. However, due to variations in processing requirements, the optimal concentration should be determined through in-plant testing to meet specific operational needs.
Application Methods:
1. Immersion: Workpieces are immersed in the prepared Shail-Redoxine solution for uniform application.
2. Spraying: The solution is applied liberally to the workpieces using a conventional spray gun for even coverage.
3. Furnace Application: Concentrated Shail-Redoxine can be dripped directly into the furnace or placed in an open container within the furnace during the heating cycle. It is essential to ensure that the furnace is vented during this process to facilitate effective action.
